Roll to the polls: need a ride to the polls?

Do you lack transportation or otherwise need assistance getting to your polling place to vote in the midterm election? Boots on the Ground, an amazing coalition partner, has put together Roll to the Polls, a volunteer early voting shared ride project

Every attempt will be made to provide you with a ride and accommodate your timeframe, but please note this is not a guaranteed service.

Safety First!

All riders must sign a release form and wear seatbelts. Each ride will have a volunteer Driver (and likely a Copilot).
[Note: Volunteer Drivers are required to sign a release form, wear seatbelts, and provide proof of current insurance and Driver’s License.]

Mobility/Accessibility

Volunteer Drivers (and Copilots) are NOT allowed to exit the vehicle during their shift to assist passengers, and are unable to provide mobility assistance to riders. You must be able to get in and out of a car unassisted or have a caregiver/friend with you to provide mobility assistance to utilize this volunteer ride service. If you will have a caregiver/friend with you, please indicate that on the form below so we can accommodate them in the vehicle headcount.

Note: Registered Missouri voters may request curbside voting at polling locations.

Three Day Notice/Ride Planning

Please complete a ride request at least three (3) days prior to your desired ride timeframe. Address/landmark responses will be aggregated and used to plan pick-up/drop-off locations and staff volunteers accordingly.

Please provide valid contact information below. We will contact you with your driver, vehicle, location pickup information if we are able to provide a ride. If you need to cancel, please contact kcmostrong@gmail.com ASAP so we can plan accordingly.

Note: If you complete a ride request less than three (3) days prior to a pickup time, every attempt will be made to provide a ride, but there is no guarantee.

Get Ready to Ride and Vote!

  • Please remember to bring a valid, current ID to vote.
  • Riders are encouraged to visit Vote411.org to review their ballot items and candidates ahead of time.
  • Political discussions are NOT allowed during rides to/from the polls.
  • Sample ballots and fair ballot language may be provided during the ride as a courtesy, but please refrain from discussing your selections/political views so as not to make other riders uncomfortable.
